Scrutiny:
Brock, 2017, Seow-Choen 2017: 110 states that Kirby 'listed these two species as being from Malabar and Singapore. .... it is likely that Kirby knew... pterodactylus were from Malabar......brevipes from Singapore.' This is misleading - both brevipes and pterodactylus are clearly labelled 'Malabar'. For now, pterodactylus is still regarded as a synonym of brevipes
